I'm not familiar with the rotax prop mount but providing there is enough thread poking through for a Nyloc nut, could you not just drill out a small portion of the threaded section of the bush so the thread doesn't bottom out in the bush? Then use nyloc nuts. Nyloc nuts with no safety wire does the job on jabiru engined planes. The difference by the sound of it, is the Jabiru bushes are not threaded.

Great idea, I think I will do that (just drill out enough of the threads in the bushing so the bolt doesn't bottom out and then I can have enough threads protruding to install a Nyloc nut).
