I've seen where some builders have cut "notches" in the forward wing ribs at the front of the rib top and bottom. Not sure if I'm describing this properly - but the intent of the notches was to provide some flexibility on the flange of the ribs to avoid a visible ridge on the leading edge wing skin.
However - now I seem unable to find any info on builder web sites. So a couple of questions -
1) Has anyone else done this minor modification
2) If so - was it worth the effort
3) Any idea where I can find a photo of this with some guidance.
Thanks very much
