Avionics and Control Panels

Postby sonex1649 » Fri Jul 04, 2014 9:14 am

Is there any demand for a company that would Design, Build and Test Control Panels as per the customer preferences and choices of equipment in the Homebuilt community. Also would help full tech support on electrical, installation and troubleshooting?

I invite you to checkout Aerotronics in Billings MT.
http://www.aerotronics.com We are an avionics FAA repair station with
over 50 years in business and for more than 20 years have had an
experimental division. We work with the customer to design the
avionics suite. They send us the panel blank and we ship back to them
a completed panel. We design the layout using CAD, then we cut, paint,
and label the panel. We are dealers of all manufacturers of avionics
and equipment. We order all equipment populate the panel wire all of
the interfaces, test everything and terminate all customer connection
to a series of plugs. We design the wiring diagrams for the customer
to complete the airframe wiring and provide both installation and
operation tech support.
I have been with Aerotronics for over 15 years and am the
manager/design salesman for the experimental division. We have built
over 1500 custom "Plug-N-Play" panels during my time here, including
Lancair Evolution, IV's, ES, Legacy's, all models of RV's, Glasair's,
Sportsman's ( I build all of the panels for Glasair Aviation's
Two-Week-To-Taxi Sportsman program). We have built panels ranging from
$4,000 to $200,000. We can build you an entire panel or sell you the
equipment to assemble yourself. Most people don't realize purchasing
equipment through a dealer often saves you some bucks as we get a
discount from the manufacturers.
I'm also a Sonex builder, I'm two and a half years into a scratch
built Sonex. Currently I have the tail done, left wing done, right
wing fitting fwd skin, and aft fuse done.
If anybody here has any question about panels or avionics I am
certainly here to help.
