Thanks for your reply. When I go back to the machine shop I will ask if they are able to to the Porsche dowel pin placement if not already done by Great Plains. For those interested, I had recently notice my oil pressure declining and just very recently a large amount of oil coming from the prop hub. When I disassembled the engine, I found out that the number four journal was fairly deeply gouged. I do not feel comfortable with machining the marks out as this is already the spot where most of these cranks fail. The machine shop could not readily say what the cause was. They are in the process of cleaning the case and will then mic it to see if anything can be found. So, I am just looking at options.
