Onex Rudder cable routing

Postby thomasjones42 » Sun Jun 01, 2014 9:58 pm

Has anybody had a problem with the routing of the right side rudder cable. As I ran mine today I find it sharing a frame hole with the elevator control rod and doing sort of a half wrap on the elevator control rod enroute to the final frame hole behind the seat. Not certain if I have missed something in the plans or what.

There have been revisions on the relocation of some of the routing holes. I simply put the holes and added a pulley so I had a run clear of the elevator control rod. I moved the first pulley to the outside of the first former and added a pulley in the vertical position to the next former. Pics on my PC that doesn't send. PM me if you want pics and I'll take some for you.

I attached the elevator push pull tube on the inboard side, this gave me plenty of room for the rudder cable outboard.
