Gentlemen,
Thank you all for the valuable information. This has really helped me out. For now I'll fix the oil leaks and go ahead with registration and inspection process.

Just out of curiousity Mike, which Dayton airport will you be based at? Mark has his Sonex at SGH and there are two Waiexes at MRT. Glad to hear of a Onex in the neighborhood!

Mike,
I'm considering either Phillipsburg (3I7) or Versailles (VES). Learned to fly at Phillipsburg back in 1976 and kept a C172 there until last September. My ex 172 partner moved the plane up to VES and its a nice airport where I might be able to use his hanger. I also have contacts at Piqua (I17) and Moraine (7I3). Moraine is closest to my house, but traffic on I-75 can be a bear at the wrong time. I know where SGH is, but I'll have to look up MRT. Thanks for your interest.
