Trip to Alaska

Postby rbarber » Mon Feb 24, 2014 12:47 am

I see that Kitplanes has posted my Alaska trip article; Http://www.kitplanes.com. I will try to put something together to post here, but I have to be careful not to violate any copyright regs. Enjoy!

All interested,

So I received permission from Kitplanes to post this finally. It seems they were only interested in making sure no commercial use of it came to pass.

Anyway, the original manuscript can be found here:

Enjoy!

Rob, excellent article, I very much enjoyed reading it! I was born and raised in Anchorage and got my private certificate at Merrill Field before leaving Alaska for college/career. Great photos, very inspiring to me as a builder.

Your perseverance is commendable. I would have just turned back after the canopy episode.

Excellent article and photos Robert! I pass many hours working on my project thinking about the places I want to go as well when my plane flies. It sure helps to read great stories like yours to motivate me a little bit more to get there.
