Young Eagles and Sonex Smile

Postby planeolbob » Sat Apr 05, 2014 9:11 pm

Hi Everyone,
Today our chapter flew over 30 young eagles and a few bald ones too. Charlie flew 2 and I flew 3 YE. Mike Biasella Flew with me down to Miami County for some fuel. It was his first flight in a Sonex. Here are some photos of the day: https://www.flickr.com/photos/39943786@N02/?details=1

The planes flew great as the weather. Mike is a new builder taking over a local Sonex project. Ron Sipple flew today but in a rental. After the flying we all met at my hanger for a bit reflection on this wonderful aircraft.

Looks like fun Bob! I have to get current in the C140 and do some YE rides for our scout troop. My boys went to a class for the aviation merit badge today.
