Radio noise

I am getting ignition ticking through the radio. Reception is not too bad but my transmissions are not very clear when revving over 2000rpm. I have the Aerovee. Has anyone had any experience/success in dealing with this? I have tried ferrite beads on the power feeds in various locations and on the coax cable but no help. I have checked all the usual culprits ( grounds etc) with no luck also.I remember some of you using noise filters and/or capacitors.

Don't have any advice, but I'm working on this part of my airplane now. Do you know if it's the primary or the secondary ignition causing the problem?

Both ignitions.
BTW, I forgot to mention it is an Icom 200 panel mount radio.

I was experiencing radio noise on receive with my MGL v6 with a jab 3300. It reduced my reception distance for my local airport by overwhelming the signal with ignition noise. I read all the posts on shielding and did some tests to prove to myself that it was the engine causing the interference. e.g. Reduce throttle and the sound reduces. I decided to drill another hole in my fuselage to try a test. I mounted a new antenna on the fuselage that was at least 4 times as far away from the engine as before. The interference dropped by at least a factor of 16. My physics professor was right. If your antenna is under the fuselage between the landing gear, think about moving to the top of the fuselage as far from the engine as possible.

My Onex antenna is on top behind the cockpit and I get ignition noise only when a distant station is broadcasting. A kind of machine gun noise.
