Increasing Fuel Capacity

Postby Paul » Thu Mar 27, 2014 7:17 pm

I'm interested in possibly building a Sonex or Waiex. I'm still on the fence while learning all I can about the airplane and its rival competitors. What concerns me is the limited fuel capacity of the airplane at 16 gallons for use in extended cross country flights particularly if mated to the 120 hp engine. A query to the company got the "company answer" while referring me to this forum. There was a direct hint that "other builders have found a way to increase the fuel capacity." If there be anyone out there with such experience I would appreciate some enlightenment. Thanks in advance.
