A video of the first flight is on Youtube at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D8qs8O9SKY0
Working on sorting out a tendency of aircraft to exhibit a "heavy" right wing at speed. Have made some adjustments in flaps, raising left flap a little and lowering right flap a little, and have now installed the flap fairing called for in the plans, at least on the right side, and plan a test flight tomorrow to see with what results.

I love your video Bruce! You have one nice looking airplane! I sure wish my first landing was as good as yours.

When I was testing the fit and location of my flap fairings, I temporarily held them in place with two sided tape. I'm glad I did since I had to move one around a little to account for the flap "reflex" while it was in flight. It's completely up to you, but that's always something you could think about as well. Fit the fairing, and then once you're happy where it is after test flying the airplane, mark it with a marker so you can rivet it in the perfect spot!

Congrats on your first flight and please keep us up on how Phase 1 treats you!

I didn't have much luck fixing a heavy wing condition by adjusting the flaps. I installed a small aluminum tab to the left aileron and that works very well.
