The usual suspects. 5 to 10 mph in cruise, improved elevator effectiveness at low airspeed, and stall speed reduction via aft wing/fuselage root fairings.
We've all seen these kind of claims before, however, he provides photos and videos of some tuft testing of his Sonex with and without his fairing. There is a definite improvement in the airflow. So there may be merit in the claims.
