Sonex tires?

Postby mike.smith » Thu Oct 10, 2024 6:50 pm

I've been using the Chan Shin 11 x 4.00 x 5 tires for the past 10 years. They don't seem to be available anymore. What are others using these days?

Check Azusa Karting tires, or Carlstar golf cart tires (Summit sells them)

These are available on the Sonex Web Store, as they have always been: https://www.sonexaircraft.com/eshop/car ... ring=azusa

Make sure to confirm that the tubes that you find are compatible. I've ended up with tubes that have the stem offset from the centerline of the tube. These don't work with the Azusa wheels. I can't remember exactly where I got them as they have been around as backups but I'm thinking that buying Azusa branded tubes will solve this problem.
