software to draw my wiring diagram ?

Postby Tony4aro » Wed Aug 23, 2023 8:32 am

Hi All,

I've been working on my panel, and I've been hand drawing (Very slopy) my diagram as I go. For simplicity, it's mostly a power diagram, as I can reference install manuals for the other stuff. (Servo and sensor wiring)

With that said... is there some free software out there that would help me draw a nicer diagram once I'm done?

Thanks for any info you can give.

What OS are you using? Windows, Mac, Linux? I have Linux and there is a lot. I've actually used Microsoft Office stuff, like word, to do prototype electrical drawings when I did fun stuff at Sikorsky.

Thanks for the replay guys.

My PC is windows 11.

I will check out the one on DigiKey's site.

I got everything turned on yesterday. The GPS talks to the autopilot, and the altimeter talks to the transponder. Next is wiring in all my sensors, and cleaning up the wires a little. (Lots of zip ties)

Do you have Microsoft word? All you need is the ability to draw sticks, boxes, and text.
