Thanks guys! Super glad to have made it. :-)

UPS seems to have lost our packages so we have no clothes or bedding, but we’re here!

Hope to meet more of you at the Open House this morning, and throughout the week!

Hope everyone is staying safe and dry in this gullywasher we’re having this morning!

Holler if you need a hand with anything or if your tent/shelter isn’t holding up.

Update: Our departure has been delayed. While trying to swap out a leaking exhaust gasket yesterday, we discovered that I’d boogered the exhaust bolt threads on the engine-head during initial installation way back in 2018… D’oh!

Credit to the Sonex team, who in yesterday’s heat (after working the booth ALL day) pulled over a flatbed trailer, loaded up my partially-disassembled airplane, and towed me across the field to their hangar.

Today we’ll try to retap the threads or swap the head - we’ll see how it goes!

Thanks also to Bryan Cotton for volunteering a tent and ground pads, as we have to give up our camper this morning and will be living on the mean streets of Oshkosh once we’re done today.

I knew that our AirVentue would have some misadventure in it somewhere! :-P

Good news! This is no longer an issue.

Does anyone have the 2023 open house group picture, or a link to it? I couldn't find it on the Sonex website.
