John Bacon (Bacon8tor) from Henderson, Nevada

I've made a few posts on this forum but have yet to introduce myself. John Bacon from Henderson, Nevada.

Building a Onex. Plan on an Aerovee, polished alluminum, day VFR. Haven't decided yet between conventional or tricycle gear.

Learned to fly in 1985. Comm, SEL, Inst, CFI. 1000 hrs. Decided in the early '90's that my skills (or lack of) were better suited for a career as a baggage handler for a legacy airline and turned flying into a hobby. I've owned a Piper Cherokee 140, Grumman AA-1C, and Cessna 150/150. The Onex is my first build.

There are so many of you on this forum who are a wealth of good information and are kind enough to share it. I look forward to learning from you all.

Welcome John - great username. I have been to Nevada twice. After college I rode my motorcycle from CT to CA and went through Vegas. Later I spent a couple weeks in Mercury for work.

Welcome John. I'm also a Onex builder. I think you'll enjoy the process.
