Here is what I do; clean everything, use copper washers and acorn nuts, but insert an internal tooth lockwasher between the nut and copper washer, and before installing, use Turn Lubricant (aka fuel lube) fron ACS on copper washers and studs. tighten to spec. I have not had any seepage or looseness. Turn lube is not soluable in anything petro based, and is a thick paste. Of course dont get inside engine anywhere as it will not disolve at all
