GRT 6000 Engine Monitor

Postby aschlem77 » Tue Mar 01, 2022 1:52 pm

Will i have any issues using a six cylinder monitor with a 4 cylinder engine? Will missing data from the extra two sources cause low temp alarms?
Thanks Aaron

The GRT install manual doesn't specifically address this issue.

I did find this post on the GRT user forum that suggests a solution that was test and worked.

Poster doesn't say where the wires were tied together but my guess (worth exactly 2 cents) would be in the 25 pin D-Sub connector. See pg. 41 of
https://grtavionics.com//media/User-Manual-Rev-P.pdf If you do that you'll only need to run the 4 CHT & 4 EGT wires thru the firewall.
