What wire?

Postby Tony4aro » Thu Feb 17, 2022 10:42 am

Hi All,

OK... I understand about wire types, gauges, and their uses.... but in pictures of the back side of a panel... I see a white wire, and from the outside it looks like a twisted pair... and I'm guessing it is shielded. (also guessing it's 24 to 20 ga)

So... simple question... what kind/brand am I seeing... and does someone have a link to it in Aircraft Spruce?

Thanks.

Maybe you're seeing something like Aircraft Spruce #11-04477? It's shielded with two 24 gauge conductors. This link has a bunch of similar options: https://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/ ... ldwire.php

If not cheapest, certainly 100% reliable and high quality stuff. Nice to deal with as well.
