ONEX Tires

Does anyone know if I can use 5.00 x 5 tires on the ONEX mains and still have the kit wheel pants fit (with hydraulic brakes)? About 40 % of my flying will be off airport grass and I think I would like to have slightly larger tires.

Sonex shows the same part number for the main wheel pants on the Sonex and the Onex. Many have put the larger tires on the Sonex with the stock wheel pants although a bit of trimming is needed around the opening. Not sure what changes you'll have to make for the hydraulic brakes. I have the Tracy O'Brien brakes and they didn't interfere at all with the wheel pant mounting.
