Side, front and top view drawings

Postby cjaeger » Thu Dec 30, 2021 4:33 pm

I am writing the POH for our Sonex A model, tailwheel. Does someone have external view drawings with overall dimensions (wing span, length, height) for the tailwheel version, in electronic format?

Sonex Aircraft LLC has consistently taken a very strong stance against any sharing of electronic files that include their plans data. I would assume this includes the 3 view. They sell the owners manual, so if you need one purchasing one may be the best option.

The drawings are in the plans. Snap a picture, crop to what you want, and convert it to pdf.

Robbie and Gordon, thanks for your reply. I have a copy of drawings in electronic format for the nosewheel version and it just looks better than a photographed copy of the one in the plans. I don't have the tools to make an electronic drawing myself, so going the route you suggest will surely do the trick if nothing else turns up. Happy new year to everyone on the forum.

Here is one for a Waiex.

If it is helpful I could post the word document. You would have to redo the tail.
