Long shot. Hoping there is some historical data floating around out there. Two questions regarding my build.

One. I am getting ready to start preparing the main wing spar. The plans clearly call out for lightening holes. I did find one old post about not doing this. It’s a ten pound gain if I don’t. But I’ll deal with that if any structural failures happened due to those holes being cut.

Second question. I have an early kit and the previous owner/builder assembled the fuselage with intentions of a mono wheel. I definitely want to convert this to a traditional tail dragger configuration. Wondering if one of you has a screen shot of a detail sheet or even a couple photos I can work from for the mod.

Got started on the wing spar. What an absolute beating. I think I found a way to shrink that time.. but of course after six hours with files and sanding blocks.

Just a quick update video on the Moni spars. Still a little fine tuning on the first spar but I feel good about moving on to the other spar.

Got both spars just about ready for primer. Needed a break from them so this is a quick look at the next steps I will take on the motorglider project.

What a frustrating week working on the spars. So close to taking the next step, moving on to the the next task.
Walked away for the better part of the week. Worked on cleaning up a little and spent some time working on getting the wing ribs ready.
