I am contemplating the purchase of an unfinished Sonex project - to try & get an idea of future costs, I would like to budget for painting. Please advise Sonex exterior surface area

Even Sonex dont know the answear - truly amazing!

FYI it seems that 32m2 will likely be a conservative figure, for those that wish to do an all over paint job.

For sure David - but if you dont start with a know area to paint, how can you possibly decide on the quantity, of paint/undercoats/etc, to order.

Most paint suppliers will give you a coverage estimate eg 1L / 5 m2.

The 31+m2 figure came from another Forum contributor. I have come to figures between 27-29m2. So to be on the safe side (not to be short) when ordering I have decided to adopt 32m2
