Aerovee hose connections help

Postby zzdeck » Thu Sep 02, 2021 4:31 pm

Hi,
Trying to do the plumbing on an Aerovee 2.1 turbo and can't find in the documentations on how to plug or connect hoses to a few female connection points.
The first three surround the oil pump at the front of the engine. One is below and connected to the oil pump, the other two are to the left and right of the oil pump an inch or two, and about even with the middle of the pump and face forward.

Also, on the turbo itself there are three connection points. I know how to connect the one on the top and the one on the bottom, but don't know the purpose of the one on the side of the turbo.

Any help would be appreciated. I have photos but haven't figured out how to send them.

Hardware for the oil pump should have been included in the Kit. They are called out in pages 53-56 of the Turbo Installation Manual.

The turbo should actually have 4 connection points. Top/bottom are for oil, fore/aft are for liquid cooling. They are called out in the (optional?) Turbo liquid cooling system guide:

Thanks, for the responses.
First, I have done the connections shown on pages 53-56. The connections is question are to the left and right of the oil pump and appear to be part of the oil pressure relief system. I don't know if there should be a cross over hose or the holes should be plugged, or whatever. There is also a connection on the pump at the bottom that is not explained in the manual.
Second, thanks much Ryan for the information on the turbo. You put me on the right track!
