Beringer brakes? Larger Tires

Postby Aussiecat » Thu Apr 15, 2021 6:31 pm

Hello All,
Just curious if anyone had fitted Beringer brakes and wheels to the airframe? Search function failed me. How did it go? Single lever, dual lever, toe- brakes? I think I have also rad about larger size tires being fitted to allow handling on grass, lesser prepared surfaces. What size have people gone to? And did you move to a larger rim at same time?

Thanks

Tim

Hi Tim.

I switched to matco 5” wheels and brakes with 5.00x5 tires. Ordered through Tracy O’Brian, with his gear legs and axles. Whole setup went together perfectly, installed in the motor mount easily, and seems quite rugged compared to stock.
