Don, at Sensenich, already responded to my email. Quick service for sure. Here is his response:
"You can touch it up with an enamel paint."
"See attached installation instructions. I refer you to page #4, item #6" Which refers to this wear as being normal.
The following item #7 on page #4, says to "touch up the edge wear with "spar varnish".
I asked Don about spar varnish and he said that the glass-covered props are finished in Sherman-Williams "Polane", a catalyzed polyurethane enamel paint. He did not specify satin, gloss, or any other sheen. It appears that the spar varnish is only for natural wood finished props.
I will make the repair with black enamel, paint the tips with the same red catalyzed enamel I used to paint the plane, Dyna-Vibe balance, and done!
