I made my own adel style clamp and riveted it to the TC mount. A flush #6 screw gives another attach point and clamps it to the tube.

Top view mounted. Note the dimple and rivet tail are in a spot where the connectors allow some clearance.

Bottom view. I used a metal stop nut and countersunk a small 1/8" shim for the dimples.

The top gang of 4 are for CHTs. The bottom will be EGTs. I swapped the male-female connector definition between the two.

I've fabricated my com and transponder antenna cables. My nav cable is terminated at the radio end and cut to rough length currently.

Looking good!

One thing you may want to consider is putting a protection layer between your clamps / zip ties, etc. and your engine mount. Zip ties have glass/abrasive material in them, and raw metal and will wear through the paint and expose the mount, resulting in corrosion risk. Personally, I don't use zip ties anymore and use lacing string now.

I've heard that about zip ties before. When I built my Kitfox 23 years ago, I didn't know better and used them. Several people have seen them and told me I shouldn't use them. So I decided to turn it into an experiment. After all, it says so right inside the cockpit in big 2" letters. I move them gently and look every year at condition. I have yet to see ant wear marks in the powder coating, on the hoses, or wires. I think 1 or 2 have broken off over the years and been replaced. Your mileage may vary but I've never seen them wear into anything. If they are, you may have some vibration issues that need to be addressed.

I've actually seen Sikorsky go back and forth on tie string vs tie wraps on the Blackhawks. They do use a lot of tie wraps. I was considering string just due to the heat, but I have the zip ties in my box. I have been thinking about getting a roll of string however.
