After reading that I think you are correct that it doesn’t include plans built aircraft. Thanks billy

Hey Billy,

Don't get bummed out. Getting ready to fly your creation is just another step along the way. It can present challenges but ..., you've solved every other problem to this point. You'll solve this one too.

I mean the following as encouragement. I hope it's taken in the spirit it's offered.

I know it's been a "Longassproject" but you're not finished yet. You can't escape this step of the journey. It can't be avoided, skipped, sidestepped, ignored, or out smarted. The sooner you accept that the sooner it will be behind you.

Consider this. You have built an airplane with the same power to weight ratio as a 180 HP RV. When you advance the throttle things are going to happen fast. You need to be ready for it. You're going to have a blast with this thing (BTW, have you named it?), but right now is the time for patience.

Thanx Wes for the encouragement. MAX is the name of the plane named after my # 1 helper who is 3 now and has bin helping since he was born. Started in a high chair is now a first rate apprentice

Hi Billy,

Coincidence but I also call my airplane Max but for a totally different reason. The Onex is small and I always found myself trying to maximize things. Baggage space, panel space, ... One day I walked into the shop and just started calling it Max. Then I painted the fiberglass black and started calling it Black Max.

Googled Black Max and this is what I came up with:

An evil character from a WWI era British comic book.

Might have to rethink things a little :-)

While waiting for paperwork did a little decorating. May not be for everyone but it’s what my 3 year old help wanted.
