My (Sonex) Antidote for the Pandemic

Postby mike.smith » Sat Mar 28, 2020 11:20 pm

I needed to get out of the house today. Nothing amazing about the flight or the video, but they gave me something to do. I hope you're all staying healthy, safe and sane out there!

Yay!

Any sign of the wreck at the end of the runway at Sterling from last month?

Your video came up in my YouTube recommendations last night before I logged on here to see it. That YouTube artificial intelligence is pretty amazing!
P.S. Great video.

And on another note: Any Onex drivers out there (hint: Michael Jackson) feel free to share some similar inspiration for us Onex builders too. :-)

Maybe now is a good time for some of you to learn to take video and edit, so you can share your own antidotes. You have the time, right :-) On the PC side I use Filmora by Wondershare. YouTube actually has a vast library of royalty free music.

Great idea Mike!

I'd like to see more Sonex flying videos. GoPro cameras are relatively cheap.

I use ShotCut to edit my videos. Check it out on the web. The price is right - free. You'll find many helpfull 'how-to' videos all over the net.

No new exciting videos from me. I did post one a few weeks ago after getting a request from two new OneX builders in my area that finished last fall. They wanted to see what the forward site picture was like during landing. Not the best example I could have posted. The head winds were a bit strong and gusty, which is always a challenge at Blairstown, NJ (1N7). Notice the IAS vs GS on final.
