The photo you posted seems to be before trim, still with the line where you cut it.
Is this correct?

Now that I looked better to the picture you posted, I think I saw that you didn’t cut the trailing edge.
You did cut the tip where the blue is, eliminated the extra length, and then just glued the cut piece again.
Am I correct now?
