Hey Billy - lookin' good!

My offer still stands - give me a hollar when you're ready for a hand getting the engine in place.

Did anyone else notice the 'fat pill' (donut) box on the bench? Where's the coffee?

Mine are not drilled

I have maybe a dumb question... trying to figure out my wiring and am wondering if I can put a switch on the ground side of the schematics for radios so to turn them on at one time. Transponder, com radio and echo adsb. Thanks billy

do ""not"" put a switch on the ground side of the schematics for radios,,,,,,because it will not work ,because the radio also gets a ground from the antenna ......also switching the ground is not the standard way of doing thinks on a airplane or a car,,,,,,,,in fact, i think, the only thing "in a car" that is done way ,is the dome light switch......
......also coming from the fuse, to the no-off switch , the standard wiring way to do things....
just my.02 cents idea....
good day..../rick

Unless I've read the schematic wrong, switching the ground is exactly how a master contactor is activated. Many of the relays on my 2008 Colorado are also ground-to-activate. Keeps the "hot" wire short in length, and if the wire to the switch does chafe through, no unscheduled blank screens.

Separate ground activated relays for the avionics and voltage regulator is the direction I'm taking.

The switch FOR the master contactor solenoid is to ground (little wire). The path you are closing when the contactor is energized however (big wire) should be the positive from the battery.
