Thanks Mike. Yes, it's a little loose, I can slide all the gaskets in without spreading the pipes. It's a turbo exhaust, so 4 into one and a pain to get them lined up without marring the bolts. I'll order some new gaskets and see if I can tweak the pipes to fit a little tighter on the head and also line up better.

Are the turbo exhaust header gaskets 1-5/8" or 1-1/2"? I'm thinking 1-5/8" but I'm out of town and can't check. Thinking about getting the thick graphite gaskets like these: https://dunebuggywarehouse.com/cb-perfo ... -2814.html

I don't know about the turbo, but the standard AeroVee I think has 1-3/8" o.d. exhaust tubes.
