Amen on the new date. This fly in is more important than you might think. It gives all of us that don t do Oshkosh a chance to meet the rest of you.

It looks like the winds are going to be quite brisk that day. Are there any Sonex pilots still committed to flying in that day? It's about a 4 hour drive for me to come down from Michigan and I would hate to make the trip and not see some planes and talk to other owners.

I want more than anything to bring my airplane. However - I fly off a north/south runway surrounded by suburbia. We will see what the wind does. I’m not going to fly if conditions dictate otherwise.

Unfortunately I'm not going to make it. Thought I had the Aerovee sorted out but found exhausts manifolds are leaking while doing 10 hour re-torque on the new heads. I had just changed to copper gaskets a couple hours ago.

Just a reminder to everyone who may be planning to fly in tomorrow to check the forecasts closely. We are expecting some gusty winds so driving in may be the better option.

We'll have lots of food and hot coffee as well as a great FBO to spend time in. Please remember to stay safe out there.
