The flat bottom of the fuselage, straight sides and curved top on the Sonex are similar to my Bonanza/Debonair, and the aft fuselage pressurizes in flight, making the cabin hard to head in cold weather due to air flowing into the cabin from the aft fuselage. The Bonanza/Debonair airplanes apparently have long enough tail pipes so the CO does not enter the cabin from this issue. I never have any exhaust residue on the bottom of the fuselage. How far below the fuselage do your tail pipes extend? Just a thought here.
