Jab Purchase Agreement

Has anyone executed the Arion jab purchase agreement? They're looking for a spouses signature...that's a joke, right?

I did this last year, and no. It’s not a joke. Not really that unusual, either.

Spouse's signature is also on the EAA Homebuilt Purchase and Sale agreement which entirely favors the builder and says - in essence - "I understand it's Experimental and I and my surviving spouse can't sue the builder if anything goes wrong."

Every time I have sold an Experimental aircraft, I have required "next of kin" signature on the disclaimer. It may or may not hold up in court, but it shows "intent" on the seller's part.
