I also added a strip of aluminium to the short side of the skin. Taped it in place so both edges met up evenly before pulling a vacuum. I used a length of 42mm steel water pipe to bend around but think 38mm would have been better.

1 1/2" pvc......is your skin cut and drilled? Billy


Haven't cut the skin out yet - still 4' x 12' sheet. My plan is to cut out but leave extra length on one side and cut to final length after bending. Was also planning to drill before bending.

Ok made some of the last few pieces for the wings. The long piece with matching holes is for the 3/4” extension to the one side of the leading edge skin for bending. It should make the bending even. Also wing tip blanks and landing gear fairings.

Either #30 or #31. I found #32 to be too tight.
