For those of you that don't subscribe to Kit Planes, there is a neat article on trimming the baffles to match the top cowl. They used paper clips on the edge of the baffle to gauge the gap when trimming. What a neat trick. Beats the felt tip on the end of a stick.

That is cool but seems optimized for a horizontally split cowl. We reached in and taped popsicle sticks to the baffle.
