Second flap done....now for the last big things..the dreaded wing assembly.. still have 8 more aft ribs to make then ready....a little over a years work so far.

Before I rivet # 9 rib in one last check with you guys if it matters if control horn hits the lightning hole? Don’t know if control ever get this far...

It's not a problem, the controls never get that far. If you look at 0:18 and 0:40 in this video of mine you'll see how close it gets to the lightening hole. There's nearly a full inch of clearance when the aileron hits the stops. You would probably run into issues of the shorter bellcrank>aileron pushrod binding up before the bellcrank reached the lightening hole anyway.
Video was taken after having pre-rigged the shorter pushrod, so the travel of the bellcrank should be about the same as what you end up with:

Thanx kevin..really should know before assembly... maybe someone else may know if the movement actually travels through lightning hole at full deflection thanx billy

I think I bent the hole flange a bit just to be sure. With an inch of clearance it probably doesn't matter but it made me feel better at the time.
