Hi
I have emailed tech support, so this is just asking if anyone else has seen a similar challenge.
My fuselage sub kit has matched hole parts. I am working on page F21, pilot drilling the fuselage lower skin to the longerons. Part SNX-F24-08 lower cross tie number 4 is being difficult - no matter what I do, the matched holes do not line up with the pre-drilled holes in the lower fuselage skin when this part is clecoed to the side vertical braces. (I also tried it when it is not clecoed to the side brace - see below)
My fuselage is upside down on sawhorses, clamped in place. Everything else lines up perfectly, the skin snaps in to the edges on the longerons where the side skin overlaps. All other cross braces fit fine.
But this part's matched holes appear to be apx 1/16" to 1/8" too far to the rear to fit. I can get the matched holes to fit the skin if I only cleco them to the lower fuslelage skin, and remove the cross brace to side brace clecos, but the part F24-08 deforms and then I cannot get the clecos in to the cross brace....
So I am wondering if anyone else has been challenged on page SNX-F21 by part F24-08.
