Thanks Phil! I did some looking at lunchtime today. I may try a couple of these, one for CHT and one for EGT.

Because the switch is not chromel-alumel, there will be a voltage when it switches materials, but then it will switch back and should generate the opposite voltage assuming a constant temperature at the switch.
