Re: upholstery

Excuse me for butting in, I'm not anywhere near ready to worry about engine baffling, but I am ready to get my Waiex seat upholstered and I would appreciate someone giving me a clue as to what I shoud be required to pay. I have had a quote of $1000,00 for Aircraft grade leather, $800.00 for Automotive grade leather, quite a bit less for fabric. If this is the going price, of course that's what I'll pay. I just thought it would be a good idea for me to get other builders opinions, which I will certainly appreciate. This is the second time I have submitted this question, not one single response. What! am I the black sheep that is being ignored? or am I posting incorrectly?
I've already been cut of the loop for posting photos. I don't feel like a Black Sheep, but I do feel like the little sheep that got lost along the way.

Try posting in "Upholstery and Interior…" ……. Note that you did receive one reply, in 'Sonex Build Status and Completion Photos' section that I agree with, you're looking at $700-$1000 unless you do it yourself. This stuff seems high, but the people that do it have to make a living too….

Is the aft fence baffle intended to tuck inside the super tins? (Between tin and cylinder. )

Yes, the rear baffle goes between super tin and cylinder. I had to bend super tin back a 1/3 of an inch to get a small gap between baffle and cylinder.

I can't find the instructions that came with my Aerovee baffle kit. Are they online? I can't find them there either.
