Hi Guys,
Got some done on the Onex.
I couldn't get comfortable that the 3/16 tubing was going to survive inside the fairing. So, I split some 1/4" tubing and ran the 3/16 inside of that from the wheel up to airframe entry. Seemed the best entry spot was through the bottom, just behind the gear leg, just inside of the longeron.
The leaver type brake makes for a simple installation, as hydraulic brakes go.
I've been sitting in the cockpit trying to sort out the ergonomics of trim, flaps, throttle, brake, and carb heat all on the left side. Just about ready to replace the temporary brake handle (used for bleeding) with the real deal so I can fit the parking brake bracket/angle. Seems the leaver only swings through about 10 angular degrees.
We'll See,
Wes
