Onex seat pan

Does anyone have experience in raising the seat pan in a Onex? I'm short and sit too low in my mock-up. John Onex 0179

John,

Low is good. That way you can use thicker cushions to get the height you need and comfort level goes up to boot.

I built mine to plan and sewed up a cushion/bag to fit the tapered seat shape and stuffed it with any material you want to use. It's about six inches thick at the center with a flat top. It puts my head about an inch away from the canopy with a head set on. That way you can also use a flat seat cushion of any thickness you want. I had my seat cushions built by a local upholstry shop. You get to pick the cover material, color, and type of foam rubber for the inside. And, it will fit a tall person in the future.
