Lake Eyre, Central Australia - 1500 NM round trip

Lake Eyre is a huge inland sea in south central Australia, well it would be if it held any water, and occasionally it does. Stuart Trist hinted that it did and indeed there was a hint of water. Read about the adventures of Stuart, Brian and me and our three tiny Sonexes in the vast Australian desert. http://www.ansoneng.com/sample-page/sonex-trips/lake-eyre-trip-july-2018/

A delightful trip report. Thanks for providing us in the US with the flavor of aviation in Australia. Your photos of the terrain across the expanse of the trip gives me an appreciation of the reasoned decision to fly together as a group.

That was a fun read! A lot different than flying around Illinois....
