Camp Sonex is in home built camping. As far as I know the area is reserved for those flying in and camping next to their planes. Drive in campers are at camp Scholler.

I plan on arriving on Saturday and would love to stay in "Camp Sonex". How do you ask them to taxi you there? They've always just placed me in the next available spot...

FYI - I'm giving a forum talk on flying the Alaska Highway this year on Wednesday. Look for it in the program.

Isaac will be giving a forum talk similar to the one he presented at Sun N Fun. Come out and hear him relate his experience building on his Sonex project. The title of his talk is "Building a Homebuilt Project as a Teenager", and is scheduled for Wednesday at 2:30-3:45 in the Homebuilders Hangar.

See you at Osh!

Liz and I will arrive Friday if WX permits from South Carolina. If we don't get there first, save us a place.

Are any of you planning on going over to the factory for the mass taxi? I'd like to but am afraid I'll get lazy and stay in camp once I'm there unless I have some peer pressure... what do you say? Of course, if there are any weather delays I might arrive on Sunday morning and taxi over there first.

If I'm there, I'll shame you into heading over. Even if I'm not there, I'll shame you via the inner tubes.

Oh yeah... we're doing it! You'll be the only one riding the short bus if you leave your plane in camp. I suggest you toe the line and come along!

My yellow Waiex can be the lead short bus.

Peer pressure is working - I wouldn’t miss it for the world :)
