I went out to visit my friend Jim, who is finishing up his standard gear, Jabiru powered Sonex. He is putting the finishing touches on the airplane and hung the prop today.

Nothing more inspirational than seeing a Sonex nearing completion!

Way to go Jim! Thanks for the motivation (and friendship)!!

The true fun in this hobby is getting to share it with others who are as excited by it as I am.
Having You and Tony come out and enjoy like you did made the day twice as much fun. Keep coming and bring people out. Eventually well be hoping rides.

I know I'm late to comment on this post, but its a very cool story. I remember getting pretty burned out as I was trying to finish my wings and stopped building for a few months. I then headed to Airventure for the airshow, and after spending a week looking at all of the different planes, I was more than ready to get back to building!

Keep up the good work Robbie! In fact, if you get a chance, give us an update on how things are going.
