MGL Extreme

Postby surfly » Sun Mar 18, 2018 10:41 am

Opinions please,
I am considering installing an MGL Extreme in my new panel. After lots of research it seems that the Extreme gives more bang for the buck in comparison to other products. My Onex is going to be used for VFR flight. I will be using my IPad for all navigational duties.
Please give me user opinions of the Extreme. Your input is appreciated.

The MGL series of efis products are a great “bang for the buck”. I have the Discovery Lite in my Onex.I am VFR only as well. Probably will do more than my brain can comprehend. The extreme will work great. Not a whole lot of real estate to work with but both fit fine.

I have the Extreme Mini and absolutely love it. It's been fantastic, and it takes up so little real estate. I have all 4 of my CHTs and EGTs being monitored, plus fuel flow. I use my tablet for moving map GPS and ADSB-traffic.
