AeroVee oil analysis

Fellow members; First few oil changes on 0nex 74 showed lots of Aluminum flakes in the cut open filter. At 100 hrs I began oil analysis which showed high Copper, aluminum and iron. I am at 220 hrs now and these values have not changed. The engine is running well, developing good power, has good compression. Oil color seems normal to me. (Valvoline racing oil ,aviation fuel) Has anyone had similar experiences?
Is there a problem? I,m flying along on the "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" mode now. Would appreciate any in-put.
Installed the AirWard anti burp system in 2014, haven,t had a problem since.......................Tom Ryan onex 74

You don't happen to have the Nickasil cylinders, do you?

The only place I can think of where aluminum is a wear surface is the lifter bores, although I guess the main bearing shells are made of aluminum these days, too. Copper is part of Babbit, right? That seems like bearing material, too.

How is your crankshaft endplay? Any significant movement if you try to push and pull the prop back and forth? How about compression and oil consumption? When you say the values are high, what are the actual percentages?

take a look inside the oil pump to check the cover and area behind the gears. Both have steel against aluminum. Possible source for aluminum and easy to eliminate as cause.

VW engines were not designed to have a paper filter; only a screen, so you may be seeing things that are in other engines, but just not seen (just spitballing here). Have you run this by the factory? They may be of more help with the analysis than us random guys on the Forum.
