Matched hole

Postby Sonex1517 » Thu Feb 21, 2013 9:32 pm

I got the fuselage sub kit today and have been doing inventory.

Looking at all the matched hole parts all I can say is "WOO HOO!"

Lots of work to do yet, but it's obvious to me this is a major step forward in assembly.

Great news Robbie! I very jealous that they did this. I have no doubt it will save lots of time.

You're going to LOVE building the fuselage, especially now. Hopefully the wings are almost done and you'll be starting the tail cone in no time.

Have fun!

Now if they could only provide a matched canopy and matched cowling option they could sell a million of these planes.

This just reinforces the fact I can never pick the right supermarket line. I always get in the line with the old lady challenging the coupons. After I bought my kit, Sonex comes out with the match drilled components. I never ends.

Matched hole

Hehehe. That's one reason I chose sub kits - they seem to make ongoing improvements. It costs a little more, but this is one advantage.

We also don't have a lot of space for storage. My darling wife is a trooper - helped me unload the pallet from the Conway truck, lets me put airplane parts on the nice couch in the living room....store the tail in the spare bedroom...gave up the garage for a few years while we build it.
