Ha! I didn't even know it was there until I saw it on this thread!

My Sonex is a favorite of the kids. I'm sure there is a bit of a "cool" factor, but I also think it's because it's more kid-sized than the other airplanes on the field.

Flying Young Eagles is such a pleasure, and such a great give-back! I think I've flown about 20 kids so far.

BTW, I'm the token home builder because I'm the ONLY one in my local EAA chapter. Everyone else flies certified aircraft.

Great picture Mike and some good publicity. We need more of these type of stories showing up in our local newspapers.
